With an additionel fee of 60 cents parcels may be forwarded via Brindisi and if posted before 5 p.m. on the 17th November would accompany the letter mail duo in London on the 18th December. Parcols intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by the mail of

Cards in closed envelopes with notchcal calong corners cut will be taxed as letters. The best method of sanding cards is to enclose them in an envelope with the flap turned in.

on Sunday, the 12th The Simla, with the English mail of the 20th October left Singapore on inst., at 8, and may be expected foro on or about Saturday, the 18th inst. at about 6 s.m. This packet brings replies to letters drapstohed from Hongkong on September 16th, and the parcol mails closed in London for despatch by the all sen route on 11th October, and for despatch overland on 18th Octobor.

Mails for CANTON, SAMSHUI and WUCHOW are closed on weekdays at 7,30 a.m. On Sunday the mail for Macao is closed at 9 a.ra.

Mails for NABITAO, SANGUE, KONGMOON, KUMCHUK, BANSHUI, *WECHOW and *CANTON are closed every weekday, at & p.m. On Sundays the mails are closed at 9 a.m.

No mails are despatched to these places on Saturday evenings. unless previously notified,
