In view of the increasing trade by tannches and steamers to Kougano and Wu- chow by the Wang Mun entrance of the Weat Rivor, will the Government take into con. sideration the advisability of approaching the Chinese Government to induce them to improve the lighting at the entrance of the river, and if possible to put a light on Tintin or in the vicinity for steamers to pick up in thick
weather?
2. Will the Government again take into con sideration the lighting of the Peak Roads either by gas, eletrie or oil lamps of the Kitson or similar patterns?

The reduction of our capital having boom sanctioned by the Court, the anoxed statement of Assets and Liabilities gives affect to the altered position.
The gross profits are $233,303,10, which after deducting all charges and allowing for bad and doubtful debris learoa a balance of 8114,298.51, from which has to be deducted (£750) $7,019.05 payment to founders and $5,000.00 the probable costs of petition fur roduction of capital, learing a clear balance of 8101,679.45, This, under present circumstances, the boar do not recommend should be paid in dividend but that $59.911.20 be added to the reserve fund, making it 8200,000 and the balance $41,758.26 carried forward to next account.
