THE publications of the statistics department as lucid as they are interesting, and in his

John Christopher Thomson said :—I am me- dical officer of the gaol. I was present at the execution this morning. Death in all three cases was instantaneous. I examined the bodies after they were taken down. Death was in all three due to dislocation of the neck.
The Coroner, addressing the jury, said Gentlemen of the jury, you have to find whether deceased root their deaths by banging, in dus process of law.

Hongkong kicked off with ten men, Browa turning up just after the first goal had been acored. Ordnance got well away at the start. Grove, taking a free kick, made a good shot at goal, but Gray saved and Humphreya gaining possession in midfish scored at close quarters for the Club.
