CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCELS. Parools posted before 3 p.m., to-day are due in London on Christmas morning.

With an additional fee of 60 cents parcels may be sont via Brindisi, and if posted before p.m. this afternoon would accompany the letter mail, which is due in London on the 19th of December, Parcels intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by this afternoon's mail, as the Parcel mail per 8.s. Simla, which leaves hero on the 3rd of December is not due in London till the 8th of January via Gibraltar, and the 2nd of January via Brindisi, The rates of postage on ordinary parcele are as follows:

THE CANADIAN MAIL,

The C.P.R. steamer Empress of Japan arrived at Kobe at 3.30 am, on Wednesday, the 16th Nov,, and left again at 10 a.in. same day for Shanghai where she is due to arrive at 10 am. on Saturday, the 19th Nov.

ERCHANT STEAMERS,

The 0.9.9. & C.M. steamer Ningchow left Singapore on the 13th Nov. at daylight, and is due her to day at daylight.

The N. Y.K. steamer Kaisow left Shanghai on the 11); Nov., am., for this port via Fooshow,

and is due here to-day.

The A.L. steamer Gisela left Singapore for this port on the 13th Nov.

Tue Indo China steamer Namsung, from Cal- cutta and the Straits, left Singapore for this port on the 15th Nov. at 5 p.m., and may be expected here on the 21st Nov.
