Thoro who send will thus, at no cost to themselves, afford the numerous hands in the envent, especially the little ones, opportunity | for useful occupation; for pieces of cloth, even of a square inch, can be stitched togather and very pretly pieces of work made out of cloth that would otherwise be thrown away. These articles are bought by charitable persons, nud. the Bistors are thus helped to keep up their very large establishment, which is maintained by the aims of friends and in a great measure by the earnings of the girls themselves, who lead by no means an idle life within the convent
walls.
