The C.P.R, steamer Empress of India left Vancouver on Monday, the 3rd Oct. p.m., for Hongkong via the usual ports of call.

The JC.-J. Liju steamer Tjilotjap left Macassar for this port on the 9th Oct., und say be expected bore to-day.

The C. & M. stemer Rubi left Manils on the 15th Oct., at 10a.m., and is due bere to-day, st

The C.PR. sloamer Tartar arrived at Shang- hai at 5 am. on Friday, the 14th: Oct, and left. again at midnight suns day for Hongkong, where she is due to arrive at 7 a.m. to-morrow. The N..K. Eleamer Fawata Maru (Austra Han Lins) left Kobs via Moji and Nagasaki for this port on the 11th Oct., and is expected here to-morrow.

The Indo-China steamer Kumaung, from Cul catta and the Stiaits, left Singapore for this part on the 15th Obt., p.m., and may be expected hors on the 19th Oct,

The P. & O. steamer Benea is due here about the 26th Oct.
