TOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that

Barriers will shortly commeter, and that, with a view to avoid endangering the lives of those engaged on it, the following rules should be observed by passing vessels.

1. When a red and white flag [International H] is shown from a barrier, or from a boat in the neighbourhood of a burrier, it will indicate that the wash of a steamer is liable to encauger life and property,
