Lane, Crawford and Company, of supplying fresh water to ships and vessels in the Harbour of Hongkong, and that the provisional agreement for the purpose submitted to this Meeting be and is hereby approved and that the Manager and Consulting Committer of this Company he and they are hereby authorised to adopt and ratify the said agreement and to carry the same into effect and to affix the Common Seal of this Company thereto with fall power to assent to any modifi cations in the agreement which they may think expedient in the interests of this Company either before or after the adoption thereof and that if the said agreement becomes isolate the Consulting Committes be and they are-hereby empowered to increase the Capital of this Company to $10,000 by the creation of 7,50 now shares of $10 each to be issued as fully paid up shares and to be allotted to Messrs. Lane, Crawford and Company in consideration of the eale by them to the Company of their business of supplying fresh water to ships and vessels in the Ilarbour of Hongkong.

Applications for Shores in the New Issus will ba received by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hongkong from the 28th September, 1904, to the 30th September, 1904, both days inclusive, and the whole amount of $11 per share will be payable on application
The TRANSFER BOOKS of the Company will be CLOSED from the 28th September, 1904, to the 8th October, 1904, both days inclusive.
The present paid-up Capital of the Company is $600,000, divided into 60,000 shares of $10 each, and the New Jesus is required to increase the Capital of the Company to $900,000 divided into 90,000 shares of $10 each.
The whole of the premium received from the New Issue will be placed to the Credit of the Permanent Reserve Fund.
The New Isane will rank for Dividend for the
three months ending S1st December, 1904, pay- uble in, May, 1905.
1. That the Capital of the Company be increased from $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 by the creation of 16,000 new Shares of $50 each.
2. That such new Shares be issued at a premium of $30 per Share and be offered to those persons who are registered as Shareholders of the Company on 1st October, 1904, in the proportion of one now Share for every complete three Shares held by them on 1st October, 1904. 3. That the amount duo for the new Shares be called up on 31st December, 1994. Dated the 1st September, 1904.
