During the said term of five years and the further term of five years the said Joseph Whiteley Kew may resign at' any time upou giving to the Consulting Com- mittee six calendar months previous notice in writing of his intention so to do. The said Joseph Whiteley Kaw shall once during the said term of five years and once during the farther term of fire years (if he shall then be Manager of the basiness of the Company) be entitled to leave of absence for a period of six

calendar months. The said Joseph Whiteley

Kow while holding the said office shall (sare as afore-sid) reside in Hongkong.

The following article shall be substituted for article 66 namely:-

As remuneration for his services the said Joseph Whiteley Kew shall be paid by the Company a salary of $500 per month payable on the last day of every month and he shali further be paid a yearly bonus of two and a half per cut. on the nett profit of the Company as shewu and declared by the Company's annual balance sheet.
