THE ENGLISH PRISONERS.

On the authority of the Hurkin Daily Reporter of the 9th ultimo, it is statest that four railway carriages with the prisoners taken from the Sedo-maru and Idzumi-mura orrived at Harbin on the 26th ultimo. Twenty-three officers (presumably including ship's officers; and four Eaglishmen were brought in a first and second clúe carriage, while two third-class cafriages covered with iron natting were filled with seamen. The Russian authorities, it is stated, are treating the prisoners kindly, supplying food, tobacco, and soap, and preparing baths for them. Thoy are allowed to take oxercise. The names of the prisoners are given, but most of the Japanese names are unintelligible. The foreigners are all of the Sado-more, their mues being-Captain Audersai, Me.
