DROPOSALS FOR FROZEN FRESH FRESH MUTTON-Helanorte Division of the Philippines, Office of the Chief Commissary, Manila, PI, Angust 25th, 1303-Seated proposals, in triplicate, will be received at this Office until 11 o'clock, am Murch 196la, 1904, at which time nud place they will be opened in the presence of the attending bidders, for the farnishing and delivery of six million six liaudred thousand (6,600.000) pounds of frozen fresh beef and four hundred and eighty thousand (130,000) pounds of frozen fresh matten to the Subsistence Department at Manila, P., during the year ending June 30, 1905. The accepted best and mutton will be admitted free of Customs duties; The United States reserves the right to decrease the amonat called for in the contract, by not to excued 4% upon reasonable active to the contracter; or to increase the amount called for, with the consent of the contracter. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Gaarantee in the amount of 320,000, or by certified check for that anant on a bank of approved standing in Manila. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to gire bond, the penalty of which will be fixed by the Chief Commissary. Information furnished on application.
