SUDDEN DEATH.
We regret to have to annonaca the death of Mr. W. Robertson, assistaut engineer of the Fire Brigade, at No. 5 Police Station, Queen's Read Central, on Saturday night. The end came very suddenly. COMPETITION.

The battalion landed at East Loudon on 15th December, 1899, and proceded by train to Sterkstroom, joining the 3rd Division under General Gutaors.
