Mr. Michael Davitt last August unveiled a memorial erected by Armagh Nationalists to Hagh Carberry, an Armagh man said to haro bean killed while fighting with the Boor Irish Brigade at Modderspruit. Lotters have now been received in Armagh from Pretoria stating that Carberry is alive, und desires the memorial to be sold and the money realised forwarded to Lim, as he is in want of it badly!
