The operation of the frust system in Germany opposrs to be attracting every day more atten- tion, and although the syndicates and cartols, as they are variously called, are widely different | in their operation to the great American com- binations with which people in Europe are rapidly becoming familiar, they nevertheless have a very far reaching effect, not only upon the trades affected, but abo upon commercial relations in general. Whether this effect is on the whate beneficial to the public or to the traders themselves is a problem which must be faced and solved without undue delay. "N consequence of the increased yield of Milk, new customers can now be supplied with Fresh Milk twice daily.

No Milk is supplied except fast from the Herd of Dairy Cows on the promises at Cause- way Bay. The Hel, as well as the hottling of all Milk, is under direct European supervision and the Cove are regularly examined by the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon. 11 the Milk is, now bottled on the premises at Causeway Bay and only leaves the premises la santed hourier.
