The Imperial German Mail steamer Bayern. arrying the Gorman Mails with dates from Berlin of the 21st alt, left Singapore on Satur day 16th ins at paa, and may bo expected here on or about Thoreday afternoon, the Bist inst.

TRE CANADIAN MAIL.

The C. P. R.steamer Empress of Japanarvived at Shanghai at 10 a. on Sunday, the 17th just, left again at 8pan. same day for Hong kong, where she is due to arrive to-morrow.

THE AMERICAN MAIL. The 0.9. steamer actie, with muile, &c., left Shanghai for this port on Saturday, the 16th inst., at p.m.

The T. K. K. stemer Hongkong Maru, with mails, &c., from San Francisco to the 24th alt., via Flonolulu, has arrived at Yokohama, and left for this port on the 13th inst. vis Inland Sea, Kobe, Nagasaki and Shanghai.

The P. M. steamer Cainu, with mails, &c., loft San Francisco for this port via Honolulu. Yokobana Laland Son, Kobe, Nagasaki and Shanghai on the 1st inst.
