Wong Tsung Hang, master of the Wiken, was called and said-On the Mad inst., ut aboni 9.10 p.m., I was towing cargo-boats No. 538 from Marty's Buoy to Wanchai. Just off the Clock Tower I saw the Southern Star on my port bow, coming from Kowloon. I blew my whistle, but the Southern Star took no notice, and tried to pass between ms and the argo-host. She collided with the latter. The cargo-bost hail a bright light burning aft

I saw the lights of the Wiken 481.18 when about 2,000 fest off, but did not at oues recognise that she had the cargo boat in tow. I was close to about three longths off when I saw the cargo-host, and immediately went astern with my engines and put the helm hard to port. At the same time the tow-rope was cast off, and this con. tributed to the collision.
