The Lighthouse is placed on the outer bastion of the Great Wall immediately below the Tagoda on the No. 1 Fort, and the Light, which is elevated 84 feet above sea level, should be visible, in clear weather, at a distance of 10 nautical miles.

The Light is hoisted on a must 38' foot in height.

The mast and lightkoepera hut, and the parapet of the lastion are painted white.
