Last year Dr. A Henry sent as a donation about 1,174 species of dried plants which ho had collected while at Mangisse in Yunnan. I fmsad amongst them specimens of this hitherto osiremely rare tree.
The specimens before me se marked on Dr. Heury's labela as boing from two different places, one of them being 5,000 ft. and the ther 8,000 ft. sboro sea level, and are marked as 40 ft. and 5 ft. as the boight of the troos respoctively.
