The American journalist, Mr. James W. Davidson, at present attached to the Japanese foros in Forms a war correspondent, was, on November 15th, decorated by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan with the Order of the Rising Bas, in recognition of services rendured to the Japanese troops on June 16th, 1905. The insignia were formally handed to Mr. Davidson by Governor-General Count Kabayama, on the 24th of December at the capital. Talpebit.
