The Chinese steamer Chi-yu, from New- ohwang via Chefoo 20th October, reports after leaving Newehwang had a strong northerly gale with heavy wqunit and rou. After leaving Cho foo Eight variable winds to Haechu Islands, from there to Dold Island fresh northerly wind: from there to portlight variable wings and aloufy weather throughout the passage.
