- TO LET,

The principal object for which this Company Ral

has been formed is to supply the oity of Vie taris, Kowloon, and the Peak, with the EnscrŃIO LIGHT. A embsidiary object is the supply of elrotric motor power wherever it may be re quired, and negociations are now being carried on with the Governsent to supply the necessary power for pumping water from the Albany Tank to a reservoir or tank to be established at. tbo Peak.

The advantage of the ELECTRIC LIGHT are so well recognised that but little need bo ssid on the eabjoot. It is, howover, peculiarly adapted: for us here on account of its being almost ontirely free from heat and unaffected by wind, and sign où acenant of its almost perfect freedoma frum danger by fire.

Estimates of working expenses, cost of supply. kc., have been carefully gone into, and the Directors have no doubt that the light can be supplied at rates which will compare invourably with the prios paid for Gas in the Colony, while for quality, power and coutumience, the light will be much superior to say other kind of lighting,
