The British steamer Glenugle, from London and Singapore, reports left London on the 8th July, had fine weather to Port Said; arrived at Port Said on the 20th and departed from Banz on the 22nd. Experienced moderate SW mon pson in the Indian Goean and arrival at Panang on the 8th August; laft latter place next day 19th). In the Straits had very heavy rain; at rived at Bingapore on the 11th August and de parted on the 19th. Experienced very fao #790- ther between Singapore sed Hongkong, Spoke the str. The British steamer Amy, from Shanghai, Loft Shanghai on the 11th August, at 10 had light S.R. winds and fine weather; proceeding southward found high sesterly ewell, wind vaaring towards north with falling barO-, meler: un 12th, 7.40 sm. anchored in Lieshan Buy: per 13th, 2.m., started outside found saAB increased, barocaeter falling quickly; steerad for same anchorage. Ber. falling gradually from 749.95 to 740 at 6 a.m., 14th, wind. W.S.W_ afterwards. Har. rising,
strong southerly breeze with rain squalls; 14th 2 p.m., Bar. 744.10 (274) started again, haż strong so0.. therly winds with high main Formoss Channel: from Chapel Island to Chelang Point decreasing SW wind with heavy rain squalla, thunder and lightning; from thesus to port light wind and fine weather. La Lishan Bay spoke size, Nursing, Fu-yew, China, and Kutrang on the 14th inst.-
