Ip Aman, hawker, for stealing 50 cents' worth of coal from a cargo boat on the 22nd inst, was sentenced to a similar punishment.
Tang Fuk, coolie, was sent to gaol for 14 days, and publiclyexposed in the stocks for thres hours. for stealing ten cents worth of wood,
Clam Kung Bai was convicted of stealing a Blider, on the 21st inst silk pocket handkerchief belonging to F.C.
The complainant dropped the handkerchief in pulling something otse out of his pocket, and the prisoner picked it up and went off with it, bat was caught.
