The Maharajah appears to be under the influence of this clique... The Princes of His Highness's family are "holding aloof from the administation. Ananthram, the Prime Minis tos, is either indifferent or helpless, and the out look is dismal.

ANOTHER WARDR ON THE INDIAN COAST.

MADRAS, 14th December:

The iron screw steamer Karozzanía, 3,148 tons grow register, owned by the Barrow Steamship Company, and worked by the Anchor Line, went ashore near Covelong daring. Saturday night. She had general cargo from Glasgow and Liver pool for Madras and Calcntia; and it is feared she will become a total wreck. She was built at Glasgow in 1892.

PUNJAB URIEFS' SCHOOL

LAROR, 15th December.

In addition to the contribution, of the Pasjak the Rajah of Faridkote has given Rs. 6,000 for the Panjab Chiefs School, the Maharajah of Cashmere has paid Rs. 10,000, while the Nawab of Patiala and the Rajah of Kapurthain have promised donations of Ra. 50,000 and 20,000 each.
