Wong Akwai, coolie employed by the Hong- kong and Whisper Dock Company, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing 30 cents worth of copper nails from the Hang Han Dock promises. on the 12th inst, and having been pretionsly convicted of a similar offence, he was sentenced to sir weeks, hard labore.
Chang Aho, coolio, was sentenced to theas weeks' imprisonmeat for stealing an ato and a pioco of wood, vulus 82.50, from a carpenter's shop in Hospital-road, on Saturday morning.
A DRUNKEN HOANDRE Fraucis Derlin, unemployed $50 was. charged with drunkenness, disorderly conduct and wilful damage to property on the 19th.
The defendant was living in Lemon's board- ing house, and on Friday he became intoxicated, and after having some disturbance with other poople in the houss he smashed about 20 cents worth of orvokery.
The charge was admitted, and in default of paying a fiue of 31 the defendant was sent to gaol for thrao days.
