The School of Art, the Grant Medical Collage, the Parsee Schools, the Mahim Cannaway, the Poona Water-Works, the beid gos of Erla Parla and Bartha all testify to his manificence. The Farsee Knight soon became the Purses Boronet. When his wtime in the Town Hall, was unveiled. Bir George Arthur said that he had contributed no lesa asuu than £100,000 for public works alono, "and when," he continued "I come to place this sum in jurtaposition with gifts of British mar ohante, I say give me a Bombay merchant.
