Mr. Bancroft givas come intergring facts, out of his managerial experience. One of the most curious is the rapid rise in value of the services of popular players. Of the late Mr. George Honey, for arample. Mr. Bancroft says that when that actor firat played Eccles in "Caste," he received a salary of £18 a week.
