The notios of the present General Meeting has been in your handa for, tyn elgar days, exolasira of the day of giving song and this day and you havo also boon notified that the abject of this meeting is merely to comply with the requirements of the Companies Act ander which the Association is incorporated in London. I would explain that Ses. 49 of the Companies Act, 1863, requires every Company to hold at least one General Meeting in every yaar. The Goueral or Statutory Mosting was held in London on the 2nd May, 1893, and it was merely a formal meeting hall in accordance with Boa 39 of the Act of 1867. The date of Incorporation was 24th Feb., 1988. This, gentle- man, concludes the busid before the mess ing. The directors are pleased to be abls to stats that the business for the nine months of the current year-that is, to 30th September-is atisfactory and shows, local incienso. The
