Had fine wea. ther and variable winda the first part, lattor part fine weather and strong Southerly winds, with very low barometer, 29.55 on the 29th. Praved two dead bodies off Mendata on the evening of the 28th, apparently Chinese
The American ateausaip Nevada reports left Yokohama at 4 p.m. on 24th-Beptember. Ex. perienced fue weather anzil the 2ch at 2 pm, whan had very bad weather with atroog B.SE gale and heavy sea at pm. passed Tarps shout, At 3 pm, gulo, banled to F.B. by E., barometer falling from 30 to 20.48; vory heavy. sea, with wind increasing and weather very: threatening. Bove-to uk 8 p.m., and at 4-cm. on the 30ob, wind and a moderating, kapt away on conres. All wind went to NW and then worked round to SW. blowing very beary until 6 p.ta, and then moderating from thence experienced moderate weather to port.. On 1st at 1.40 p.m. passed of Peiro Manoo the wreck of a junk and tour dead bodies.
