The British steamer Merlaban reports left Saigon on Blat Merch, bad fine wealtor to the 4th, when bad strong N,E.-breena till mirival..

The North German baric Picciole reportü left; Saigon on 17th March, and Cape St. James on the lath, experienced fine weather and salms till the 2nd Aprit, whóa had strong E. and N.E. winds arrival on April 8rd at 9 p.m.

The Britiek otsaner Fur-yama reporta left Saigon on 18th Mareb, and Capo St. James.on the 29th, had flue weather to the Macclesfeld Bank; from thence strong winds, from. E.NE. to NE, with heavy jen.

The North German tark Stephanie reports teft Saigon on March 13th, and Vape St. James on the 14th, had the whole way up calma andi light xir, and fine weather till the last threo days, when bad foggy weather till arrival. ·

The P. M. 9. S. steamship Japas raporta left; San Francisco on 1st March, at noonerived at Yokohama on March 26th: experienced fa vourable weather to Tokohamay left Yokohama on March 28th. Off Cape Chickauf was boarded: by the Lighthouse keeper, whom we supplied and provisions. On April 3rd, at noon, passed a P. & O. steamer off Breaker Point, bound North. Same day, at noon, passed a steamer, painted light, bound North. Same day, at 1. p.m. off Capehi Point, passed a P. & O. steamer, bonad North; bad ce weather to North end of For-"; woes, thence to port strong N.E. gales,
