ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE. the 15th instant, the Chapel Island Light was lighted. The apparatus la Dioptris,
of the First Order, showing all round the bori zon a Fixed White Light; rariad by Flasben et intervale of hat a minute. The centre of the light is 227 feet abore High Water, and in dhar westher it will be visible 22 nautical miles. The lighthouse je 63 feet in height from base to vane. The tower is painted black, with the exception of the parapet, and window facings, which are of granits onpainted. The Light. keepers' dwellings and Bartonnding wall are painted white. The light-bouse is situated in Lat, 24° 10' 18" N., and Long. 11s 13'30" E.
Fourth Call of Twelvo Dollars and Fifty:Conte per sbare is payable on the 31st December our rent, at the HONGKONG AND SHANGHAI BANKS ING ObEPORATION.
