From: Mitchell's Maritime Begister. Yean Tree Fee (s. a.), at Tenerife, reporta On Feb. 24, when at sea, a mating broke out a- mongst some of the crew, and the captain drew .biz sevolver, intruding to shoot the ringleader, but missed his sim and shot an innocent spectator. Ima- mediately on arrival at Santa Oraz an inquiry was held by the British conam! and someresident Ping- lisa mchants, who droided that the ship had better proveed on her voyage to Chion, and that the man whom the captain intended. to shoot should be set to lingland, the chief officer and: stoward accompanying him as witnesses.

The Chargo.of Threatening to Kill a Captain. Chhefen Olson, who had bean remanded on charge of having threatened in kill Umptain kokes, of the worow steamer Yuen T'se Fae: wes-brought before Vr: Hailes, at the Liverpoći Police-soart. on Thursday, Mr. Cobb appeared for the prisoner. Mr. Kehoe said the purisoner was charged with. mutiny and threatening the Captain, which caused the later to discharge mixti sa him, but the rhat missed the priser, and killed another man who had not beou guilty of any offence. After evidence had been givan, Mr. Haffes said he did not think. that the charge of mutiny was proved. His did na that the man's conduct was altogeiber Mainelees, nor was the Captain justifad in Haring fired the pistol which caused another man's desti but the evidence was not sufficient to sustain the obarges against the prisoner, and ba must there- fora ba discharged.
