New measure to encourage hotel development
The Government has decided to exclude back-of-the-house facilities from plot ratio calculation for hotels, the Director of Buildings, Dr Choi Yu-leuk, announced today (Thursday).

Under the existing policy, hotels are regarded as non-domestic development with a plot ratio up to 15 times of the site area, depending on the limits set on statutory outline zoning plans.
