Prequalification invited for Heritage Museum project

The Architectural Services Department is inviting approved contractors to participate in a prequalification exercise for the construction of the Regional Council Heritage Museum in Area 25, Sha Tin. The project comprises the construction of a six-storey museum complex of Chinese courtyard style with a total gross floor area of over 30,000 square metres.

Works are expected to commence in October for completion in March 1998.

Only contractors on the Approved Contractors for Public Works List I in Group C (confirmed) for Building Works or on the List II for Building Works (confirmed) can apply for prequalification. Interested parties may apply for prequalification documents from the Chief Architect, Division 2, Architectural Services Department, 37th floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong. The deadline for submission of prequalification applications is noon on June 7.
