Improvements to Tseung Kwan O water supply system

The Water Supplies Department is inviting tenders for the construction of Tseung Kwan O salt water booster pumping station, service reservoirs and associated mainlaying.
Works will involve the building of a salt water booster pumping station and two salt water service reservoirs together with the laying of about 3,500 metre long ductile iron and steel salt water mains in Tseung Kwan O new town.
The works form part of the $180 million Water Supply to Tseung Kwan O Stage III project.
Construction will commence in May and scheduled for completion in 18 months. On completion, existing water supply system in Tseung Kwan O new town will be improved to meet increasing demand.

Tenders must be clearly marked and addressed to the Chairman of the Central Tender Board.
They must be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box at the lift lobby, lower ground floor, Central Government Offices (East Wing), Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong before noon on Friday, March 1.
