One more nomination received for DB by-election
One more nomination was received today (Friday) for the Tuen Mun District. Board by-election in respect of Tin King constituency to be held on March 3.
The candidate is Ms Angela Li York-lan, a 41-year-old teacher.

So far, four nominations were received since the nomination period started on January 19. Nomination will close until February 1.

TV show to arouse drug awareness
A group of popular singers will help promote the message of fighting drugs and preventing juvenile delinquency in the Kowloon City District Drug Awareness Promotion Night to be broadcast live on TVB Jade at 8.30 pm tomorrow (Saturday).
The cast includes Miss Kelly Chen, Miss Amanda Lee. Miss Vivian Lai, Miss Linda Wong, Mr Jeff Cheung, Mr Daniel Chan, and Mr Andy Hui, who is also the Kowloon City District Fight Crime Star '96.
The one-hour show consists of a quiz contest and reconstruction of criminal cases to dramatise the importance of combating crimes and the ill effects of taking drugs.

The activity is jointly organised by the Kowloon City District Fight Crime Committee (KCDFCC), the Kowloon City District Office, the Kowloon City District Board (KCDB), the Kowloon City Police District, the Action Committee Against Narcotics, TVB and the Lok Sin Tong (Kowloon).
