New Sai Wan Ho post office opens today
The Postmaster General, Mr Robert Footman, today (Thursday) welcomed the opening of the Hing Man Street Post Office.
He said: "This is the second new branch post office opened since the Post Office changed to Trading Fund operation in August 1995 with a view to improving customer service."
The new office, located at ground floor, Shop 1, Wing Hing Court, 50-52 Hing Man Street, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong, opened for business at noon today.
It provides a normal range of counter services including stamp sale, registration, and letter and parcel acceptance services, to the 'Sai Wan Ho Area. Business hours are:
Monday to Friday

9.30 am to 1 pm
2.15 pm to 5 pm
Saturday
:
9.30 am to 1 pm
The telephone number of the new office is 2539 4114.
Mr Footman, the Chairman of the Eastern District Board, Mr Chan Bing-woon, and the District Officer (Eastern), Mr Lui Hau-tuen, officiated at the opening ceremony this morning.
The total number of branch post offices in Hong Kong at present is 126.
