PSPS site puts up for sale
The Lands Department is offering a 30,000-square-metre site in Tseung Kwan O for sale by tender for Private Sector Participation Scheme development.
Details of the tender are contained in the Government Gazette today (Friday).
The site would provide about 230,000 square metres of gross floor area for residential purposes and another 3,300 square metres for non-industrial purposes. On completion, the PSPS development will provide 3,300 to 4,000 residential flats.
A spokesman for the department said the terms of the tender contained a new element for the employment of contractors.
"The purchaser shall employ a main contractor with confirmed status in Group NW2 of the Building (New Works) category of the Housing authority List of building contractors for the purpose of carrying out and supervising all works and services and co-ordinating all ancillary works to be carried out by specialist contractors or suppliers in connection with the development of the lot," the spokesman added.
