The visit is one of a series of reciprocal Legal Study Visits that have taken place over the past few years.
These visits are intended to provide opportunities for officials from the Chinese and Hong Kong governments to meet on a regular basis to learn more about each other's legal system at a practical level.
Since the start of the Legal Study Visit programme in 1988, Hong Kong has sent four delegations to China and two Chinese delegations have visited Hong Kong.

Friends of the Earth committed to countryside conservation
This year, Friends of the Earth has committed itself to a five year "Forest Adoption Project" organised by the Agriculture and Fisheries Department on the hillside of Lantau Country Park.
In March and April this year, work was started on site preparation and over 4,000 seedlings have been planted on the hillside.
The next stage involves clearing weeds around the seedlings, adding fertiliser, and protecting them from hill fires.
"But, I am confident that, after several years, all of you who have worked so hard on the project will see your seedlings growing into strong and healthy trees and becoming part of the woodlands in Hong Kong," Mrs Patten said at the "Plant for the Earth" Closing Ceremony organised by the Friends of the Earth today (Friday).
She was glad to see people from all walks of life join and participate in the Project, working together for the common good of countryside conservation.
"This shows that each and every one of us feels that responsibility and has the capacity to make a positive contribution to our environment," she said.
Last year, with the help of Friends of the Earth and support by government departments and an enthusiastic public, some eroded areas on Lantau Island near Mui Wo were revegetated.
