More public piers for Sai Kung
The Government plans to construct three public piers in Sai Kung. The piers will be located at Sha Kiu, Tai Tau Chau and Tung Lung Chau to provide better berthing and landing facilities for the local villagers and other members of the public.
The works will be carried out within the foreshore and sea-bed in Leung Shan Wan Hoi at Sha Kiu, Leung Shuen Wan Hoi at Tai Tau Chau and Tung Lung Chau.
Construction of the piers will begin in mid-1996 for completion in about two
years.
The extent of the area affected are notified in three notices in the Gazette today (Friday).

The plans can also be seen at the Lands Department's Survey and Mapping Office, 14th floor, Murray Building, Garden Road; and at the Sai Kung District Office, ground floor, Sai Kung Government Offices, 34 Chan man Street, Sai Kung.
The plans can also be purchased at the Survey and Mapping Office.
Any persons who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved will be affected, may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands on or before July 19.
