Future development of Sai Tso Wan

The following is a question by the Hon Fred Li Wah-ming and a written reply by the Secretary for Planning, Environment and Lands, Mr Tony Eason, in the Legislative Council today (Wednesday):

Question:

It is learnt that the Planning Department has undertaken a study on the future development of Sai Tso Wan in Cha Kwo Ling, Kwun Tong. In this connection, will the Government inform this Council:

(a) when the Planning Department has started to study the land use of that

sile;

(b)

of the reasons why the Planning Department has not yet released any findings of the study, and whether preliminary findings of the study will be made public; and
