Mr President,
(a)
We have received a total of 49 applications for the importation of architects from 35 companies under the Pilot Scheme for entry of PRC professionals. A total of 11 companies have been successful in all the four ballot exercises, each with one successful application. So far, 7 applications for the post of architect have been approved and 2 applications have been withdrawn.
