A businessman, Mr Fung has been a member of the Textiles Advisory Board since 1984. He is also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Co-operation and is a member of other influential trade and economic planning committees.

Mrs Sophie Leung Lau Yau-fun, JP

Mrs Leung is a businesswoman and also a member of the Textiles Advisory Board. In addition, she has undertaken a wide range of community work including adjudicator of the Immigration Tribunal, member of the Regional Services Appeals Board and the permanent adviser of the Yan Chai Hospital.

Professor Leung Chi-keung

Professor Leung has been a member of the Transport Advisory Committee since 1986 and the chairman from 1991. He is head of the Department of Geography and Geology at the University of Hong Kong and a former dean of the Arts Faculty.

Professor Leung Ping-chung

Professor Leung is an internationally recognised expert on micro-surgery and hand surgery. He has also been involved in a wide range of social and community services. He has been particularly active in the fields of occupational safety and health standards.

Mr Peter James Thompson

Mr Thompson is a lawyer in private practice and has been a member of the Public Service Commission for the past eight years. He has also been active in the maritime field and is a member of the Academy for Performing Arts Council and the Honorary Adviser of the Museum of Art.
