TO ACHIEVE THAT, NEW MEMBERS INCLUDING REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE HONG KONG AIDS FOUNDATION AND AIDS CONCERN WERE INVITED TO JOIN THE COMMITTEE.
"THE PURPOSE IS TO STRENGTHEN COORDINATION
AND LIAISON AMONG ORGANISATIONS TO ENSURE A MORE EFFECTIVE DEPLOYMENT OF RESOURCES. MOST IMPORTANT, MEMBERS CAN MAKE SUGGESTIONS OR EXCHANGE VIEWS ON MAJOR AIDS ISSUES." SHE ADDED.
TO PLAN FUTURE EDUCATION AND PUBLICITY STRATEGIES, MS TSUI SAID A NEW SUB-COMMITTEE ON PLANNING AND EVALUATION WAS SET UP IN ADDITION TO THE EXISTING FIVE WORKING GROUPS.
"THE SUB-COMMITTEE IS ORGANISING AND CONDUCTING A SURVEY ΤΟ EVALUATE EXISTING EDUCATION PROGRAMMES IN SCHOOLS. IT IS ALSO PLANNING A SURVEY IN SEPTEMBER TO ASSESS THE OVERALL EFFECTIVENESS THE AIDS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN.
