In the figure showing monthly averages, the monthly means for July 1990 are also shown for comparison. comparison is possible for figures of the Mong Kok station which only began operation in April 1991.
The daily Air quality Qbjectives for TSP, RSP, SO2
and NO2 are respectively 350 ug/m3, 150 ug2/m3,
2602 ug/m3 and 180 ug/m3. There is no monthly air quality objectives established for Hong Kong or elsewhere in the world.
Daily averages for TSP and RSP are measured and reported once every 3 to 6 days and measurements are illustrated as discrete points in the figures.
In the SO2 /NO2 figures, daily variations are plotted as continuous lines. Broken lines indicate missing data or dala not being validated.
