THE BUILDING AUTHORITY WILL APPLY FOR THE EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF A BUILDING AT 19-21 MAU LAM STREET, SUBSIDENCE THIS (WEDNESDAY) MORNING.

OWNERS URGED TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST DBW'S

THE DIRECTOR OF BUILDINGS AND LANDS, MR TONY EASON, TODAY (WEDNESDAY) APPEALED TO BUILDING OWNERS TO TAKE TIKIR OWN INITIATIVE AND REMOVE UNAUTHORISED BUILDING WORKS.

SPEAKING AT THE OPENING OF THE EIGHTH INTERNATIONAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION EXPOSITION MR BASON SAID THE OWNERS SHOULD NOT WALT UNTU1. REMOVAL WAS ORDERED RY THE BUILDING AUTHORITY OR DANGER THREATENED THEM.

"THEY SHOULD GET TOGETHER WITH OTHER OWNERS IN THEIR BUILDING AND ACT IN THEIR OWN INTERESTS AND THF INTERESTS OF PUBLIK SAFFTY NOW," HE SAID.
