THE HONG KONG GOVERNMENT OFFICE IN LONDON IS TO MAKE ITS TELEPHONE ADVISORY SERVICE (TAS) FOR HONG KONG VISITORS.

A TRIAL THE TAS WAS INTRODUCED A YEAR AGO ON NUMBER OF HONG KONG PEOPLE COMPLAINED THAT
HAD THEY DIFFICULTIES WHEN ENTERING THE UK AND, IN SOME CASES, WERE REFUSED ENTRY.
SINCE THE INTRODUCTION, A TOTAL OF 65 CALLS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
49 OF THESE, 16 WERE REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE AND ENQUIRIES.
