The Honourable Piers JACOBS, OBE, JP
Mr Jacobs has been Financial Secretary since May, and is a member of the Executive Council.
1986
Mr Jacobs joined the Hong Kong Civil Service in 1962 as a Legal Assistant in the Registrar General's Department. He became Registrar General in 1976 and Secretary for Economic Services in 1983.
CBE
The Honourable Geoffrey Thomas BARNES, JP
Secretary for Security, and former Commissioner Against Corruption. He joined the Hong Kong Government Service in 1970 after service in Sarawak. He has held a number of posts in the Government including posts with the Police and the former Commerce and Industry Department. He was made a JP in 1980.
The Honourable Stephen CHEONG Kam-chuen, OBE, JP
Member of the Legislative Council. Не has been member of various Legco committees, and Convener of the OMELCO Standing Panels оп Industry and Community Affairs. Outside the Legislative Council, he has served on a number of boards and committees, and is Chairman of the Hong Kong Industrial Estates Corporation. He was made a JP in 1981 and awarded an OBE in 1984.
Mr Arthur GARCIA
Appointed the first Commissioner for Administrative Complaints this year, and before that was a Judge of the High Court from 1979. He has been in the Hong Kong public service since 1939 is Chairman of the Widows and Orphans Pension Scheme, Chairman of the Solicitors Costs Committee and Chairman of the Social Committee of Caritas.
