FOOD HYGIENE HOTLINE SET UP
RESIDENTS ARE URGED TODAY (SATURDAY) TO TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AGAINST FOOD POISONING AND VARIOUS DISEASES ASSOCIATED WITH UNCLEAN FOOD IN THE SUMMER SEASON.
TO FACILITATE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF FOOD HYGIENE, THE HEALTH EDUCATION UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES BRANCH HAS SET UP A 24-HOUR TELEPHONE HOTLINE WHICH WILL OPERATE UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST.

SHOULD ALSO BE REHEATED THOROUGHLY;
* COVER CUTS AND SORES WITH WATERPROOF DRESSINGS BEFORE
COOKING AND EATING;
* KEEP CLEAN PERSONAL HABITS AND WASH HANDS ALWAYS BEFORE
PREPARING FOOD; AND
* MAINTAIN A CLEAN KITCHEN.
