+DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PEAK WILL CONTINUE TO BE SUBJECT TO A PLOT RATIO RESTRICTION OF 0.5 TO MAINTAIN ITS LOW DENSITY AND LOW-RISE CHARACTER, + SAID THE SPOKESMAN.
THE SECOND MAJOR AMENDMENT INVOLVES THE PROPOSAL FOR A MULTI-STOREY CAR PARK AT THE GOVERNMENT/INSTITUTION/COMMUNITY SITE NEXT TO THE PEAK TRAM STATION.
THIS WILL NO LONGER BE PURSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PROPOSAL HAS BEEN DELETED FROM THE TOWN PLAN.
THE SPOKESMAN SAID OPPORTUNITY WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AMEND THE PLAN BY REFLECTING THE EXTENSION OF THE GERMAN SWISS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SITE AT GUILDFORD ROAD AS GOVERNMENT/INSTITUTION/COMMUNITY USE AND ALSO TO RATIONALISE THE RESIDENTIAL LOT BOUNDARY OF INLAND LOT 8361.
